oh cornell

so i would like to keep attending cornell. it's not that i'm too dumb. it's just i don't have the money to afford cornell for real. so i apply for financial aid. and i did do it on time. but the financial aid office is just so slow. maybe they have a lot more to do this year. who knows? either way i'm still waiting.
so yesterday i get home and i sift through the mail, looking for cornell mail.
and voila, there IS an envelope from them. and it's pretty big, but sorta thin. i rip it open immediately. but alas, not financial aid.
but it is a certificate!!! for being on the dean's list. so i was really happy about that. i show it to my mom and aunt and they think that i've graduated. right. good job family.
so i'm still waiting for my mail.
